Is Scripture divinely inspired ?
Can you help me with this school essay about the Christian view.
Could you tell me any other views?

OK Miss K,Here is a short answer for you to get you thinking in the right direction.
For the committed believer who knows the Lord the Bible is the word of God and the foundation for our faith, even with all of it's translation errors, different versions and the bits we hardly understand without revelation. It is a book that comes alive in the hands of believers. See our School of Mission lesson on the Word of God
For some churchgoers the Bible may be only one book of traditions among other books and for them it contains the word of God, but is not necessarily the word of God. Jesus however made it clear that the Bible was in a class of its own, exalted above all tradition.
Some unbelieving or unconvinced people think the Bible is flawed and unreliable, and obviously not written by God, which it wasn't anyway. The books were not "dictated" by God. The Bible as eventually compiled by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit was written by a wide variety of different men over many centuries with all their natural, cultural, historic and spiritual limitations who put pen to paper as and when they were inspired and moved by the Holy Spirit.
Some say the Bible is not " reliable" nor it is "historically inaccurate" or it is "outdated" for 21st century life or it is "the work of man."
All of these objections are ages old and have been well answered down the centuries. All the modern evidence that is discovered only confirms the case for an accurate Bible as God's word.
If you go to Google and type in Answers to Objections to the Bible you will find dozens of pages of satisfactory answers. I hope that helps you a little.
