How can we help you ?
How can you help us ?
How can we work together to help someone else ?
The DCI movement of global partnerships began in England in 1985 during
a year of prayer and
today our friends, supporters, colleagues and their churches and
projects can be found on all five continents. You can see some names
and places by

These pages in the middle of the world's busiest market place - the
Internet, are our “shop window” and reflect our
everyday activities mainly in the developing world.
We do training for leaders, with no walls, frontiers or fees. We equip graduates and leaders with resources for their vision. We have a bank that likes to say yes to the poor of the world. We like to start Business 4 Mission to make Money 4 Mission. We bless the poor as our way of giving thanks to God.
By mid-2008 we have
attended to over 25 million page visits or 'hits' from over 100
nations, through this website, which is centre of our communications with our partners and friends around the world
DCI is a movement that serves, we has no formal leaders, elders or written constitution
other than the Bible. We work together in friendship, supporting each
other in God's call to different kinds of lifestyle and mission. We do not charge for any of our materials, advice or support.
In the middle of everyone are Les and Pilar Norman
in England who provide the main personal support for partners, project leaders and for
visitors to this website. Les Norman has spent 31 years in missions,
churches and training and these days is a guest speaker, a writer, and
the editor of these pages. Pilar does just as much, also teaches Spanish, and her Christian poetry
is a big favourite in the Spanish speaking world.

Les is English, Pilar is Spanish and both are 58 years old with 3
children, James, 35, David 33, and Elisabeth who is 19 and a
young leader in her own right, at University studying
Developing World Issues. Since 1977 we have been working with leaders
and people of all ages, colours and nationalities from many church
backgrounds from the classical to the modern. In this picture you can
see Les, Pilar and Elisabeth representing the UK and Spain with Korean
and African colleagues in Nairobi, Kenya.
All over the world DCI is six people here and twelve people there and
ten somewhere else, and this is the way we like it because in small groups
we get to know everyone personally by name.
Les holds an earned Doctor's and Masters degree, and Pilar is
qualified to degree level as a teacher and has known the Lord
for 42 years. Their work is a response to the call of God
many years ago and like many believers in mission across the nations
they choose to trust the Lord for his provision for life, family and
work.
No one in the DCI movement receives a salary from the movement and
expenses are deliberately kept to an absolute minimum. Nearly all
income goes directly to people and projects in the developing world.
You will find a statement of faith towards the end of this page
